  • Auditions will be held at Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer Street, in Lynnfield (Google Maps link)

  • Send us an email to express your interest in audition, and we’ll send you your appointed time

  • If you’re a woodwind or brass player interested in a position for which we have no current opening, feel free to audition for us for alternate or substitute positions. We’re always looking for superb talent!

WHEN

  • Weekly rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7:10 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.

Who do we need for our team?


WE NEED

  • Musicians of high caliber, both in ability and spirit

  • Team players

  • Doers not just followers


WE CURRENTLY NEED THE FOLLOWING INSTRUMENTALISTS

  • Violin

  • Viola

  • Cello

  • Double Bass

  • Oboe

  • Clarinet

  • Tuba

  • Percussionists

  • ALL woodwind and brass instrument inquiries are always welcome (if we are currently set, we’ll let you know)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 contrasting pieces

    • One fast and technical

    • One slow and lyrical

    • The 2 pieces can be 2 movements from the same concerto or sonata, or they can be entirely 2 different pieces

    • At least 3 minutes in length each

  • Sight-reading

  • No scales are required
